This strip pretty much sums up the Onion's origin. At first we developed a whole line of argument in which Leo visited the Nuclear Power Plant with his school and due to reaction with a radioactive liquid of the onion that he had in his lunch, Onion appeared . But in the end we decided it wasn’t really necessary for the story and we summarized all in this comic strip.
We can see a typical family scene in which the mother asks her son about his visit to the Nuclear Power Plant and the father advise him to eat more vegetables. Leo doesn't consider very serious not to eat vegetables but didn't eat vegetables triggered the Onion's origin. So you know boys and girls, eat more vegetables, because the consequences could be disastrous.
To introducing the Nuclear Power Plant what better way that with the safety inspector of the Nuclear Plant most famous in animation and comic, Homer Simpson.

Esta tira resume muy bien de dónde surge la Cebolla. Al principio desarrollamos toda una línea argumental en la que Leo va a la Central Nuclear en una visita escolar y, debido a la reacción con un líquido radiactivo de la cebolla que había en su almuerzo, surgía la Cebolla. Pero al final decidimos que todo eso no era realmente necesario para la historia así que lo resumimos en esta tira.
Podemos ver una típica escena familiar en la que la madre pregunta a su hijo sobre su visita a la Central Nuclear y el padre le aconseja que debería comer más verduras. Leo no considera muy grave no comer verduras pero precisamente por no haber comido verduras desencadena el origen de la Cebolla. Así que ya sabéis chicos y chicas, hay que comer más verduras, sino las consecuencias pueden ser desastrosas.
